Title: Untitled
Description: It's a layered wet Cyanotype using a template of a figure and feathers (found while walking locally). No particular inspiration other than I work at a faith school as a TA and I noticed feathers there the other day and (for some reason) thought "angel". Probably because I was watching some Year 7s at the time and some really need a guardian angel as they settle in to high school.

Title: ‘Enlightened Stained-Glass Window’
Description: An image of the stained glass window on a digital transfer film was used. A heavy duty watercolour paper was used (300gsm) which had been primed with three acrylic colours, Burnt Umber, Turquoise and Cyan in three separate equal areas.
The cyanotype coated paper was exposed to a UV lamp for 35 mins.
The print was developed using 60ml of lime juice in a litre of tap water followed by two washes in tap water.
The print was finally toned using white wine for 60 mins.
The inspiration came from a visit to a church in the centre of Liverpool which had been bombed during WW2 and remained in that state today. The church is St Luke’s and is known as the ‘Bombed Out Church’. None of the stained glass remains today except for small remnants which survived the bombing.

Title: "Into my world"
Description: Description: I am from Baku, Azerbaijan. I study Cyanotype, an alternative process, and I do printing at my home laboratory. Also I do at my home laboratory aged handmade prints with coffee on vintage papers. Cyanotype photography has a very deep place in my life. I am very happy to spend my time on one photo and the photo is engraved directly on the paper in front of my eyes. The small house laboratory I have already built is a garden of my world of photography. This garden takes me to the past, to a great distance. I'm using negative paper also toned with coffee and black tea.

Title: "Enlighten"
Description: I'm always on the lookout for interesting shapes in my day-to-day life. Lately I've been using the skeletons of upcycled paper envelopes that are left after I've cut as many small hearts from them as I can for the notes I put in my husband's lunch bag every day. I also used some dried, pressed plant matter. My inspirations were love, light, and nature.

Title: “Enlighten La Teste "
Description: with images of old maps preserved by archive services. As my previous job was genealogist, I am fascinated by old papers aesthetic.
The map I have chosen dates from 18th century. It shows a forest in my neighborhood, La Teste, destroyed this summer (2022) by fire. Although it was at 50 km from my home, I have seen and smelled smokes. It made me really sad, and I felt ashamed of our common responsibility on climate change. By putting a candle behind the hole, I wanted to change shame into hope and enlighten the future with the past.

Title: "Under the Bodhi Tree"
Description: The leaf used in this artwork is known as the peepal leaf here in India. The fig tree is sacred to many people, with many cultures holding that the tree represents one’s ancestors and that worshipping the tree in the morning brings harmony to one's daily actions. It is said that the Buddha attained enlightenment under one such tree and it came to be known as the Bodhi Tree. This artwork is made from a leaf slowly rotted over a period of weeks until it's delicate skeleton was exposed and ready for use as a print.
